COVID-19: Extended payment grace period through June
To help your clients and their employees stay covered, we’ve extended our payment grace period and won’t terminate group coverage for unpaid monthly membership premium dues through June 2020. Groups that have missed payments will start receiving delinquency and termination notices in mid-June and be terminated by
August 1, 2020.
Please use this time to have conversations with your clients about payment plan options and opportunities to downgrade plans. You can also point them to:

- One-on-one support – For more information, your clients can contact their account manager. Small groups can also call the Customer Connection Team at 1-800-790-4661, option 3.

COVID-19: Extending $0 treatment for COVID-19 through 2020
Kaiser Permanente has been waiving all member out-of-pocket costs related to in-network COVID-19 treatment since April 1. We’re now extending this policy through the end of the year for all fully insured customers and will continue to waive the member out-of-pocket costs for treatment delivered by Kaiser Permanente providers. We’re also encouraging our self-funded customers to do the same.
We’re waiving these costs because we know that many more people will need treatment for COVID-19 in the months ahead — and because it’s the right thing to do. We’re here for you. For more information, visit kp.org/coronavirus.
